Unfortunately that would involve re-encoding them. But I understand that mp4 is traditionally a Quicktime format. I would highly recommend downloding an alternative codec pack such as the K-Lite Codec Pack or the CCCP codec pack that will allow mp4s to be played in Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic
