Easter, thanx for the tip. These type of files used to drive me nuts as well, until you posted that link. If anyone’s on a Mac, just download Split & Concat. Works like a dream.

No need to unzip this one. You only need a little application http://www.hjsplit.org/ to join both parts.
After joining, the file is a wmv file immediately playable in your favorite video player.
